I began my career at Harrods in 1993 when I had just turned 23 years old. I initially worked in Santa’s Grotto on a student work visa, but I was subsequently promoted to the Chairman’s office after only three weeks. I experienced isolation and abuse during my time working in the Chairman’s office. I have spent decades wondering why I was targeted and wondering if I had done something to make myself a target. I know now that I did nothing except believe the lies a monster of a man and his enablers told me in order to manipulate me into a large scale web of assault, harassment and abuse.

Connecting with this supportive group of women has been transformative. Engaging with this group of wonderful women has enabled me to process those experiences and it has empowered me to speak openly about them. It has also allowed me to become friends with incredible women who understand my experiences, and I am grateful for that every day.
