I was just 17 and far from home when I was first introduced to MAF (the perpetrator) while working as a model in Harrods.
The abuse that followed has had a devastating impact on my life, spanning more than three decades.
Widespread disavowal and cover ups by those who encouraged and facilitated MAF's abuse of so many women has meant that those who suffered at the hands of MAF and his enablers have felt dismissed, unheard and alone for far too long.
Knowing that MAF's abuse of me was encouraged by people I trusted left me angry, ashamed, self destructive and unable to heal.
The exposure and acknowledgement that was generated by Keaton Stone's 2024 documentary and the public outcry which followed it, has provided hope that all those who were complicit or active participants in the abuse that hurt so many, might be finally held to account.
