I support the survivors of Al-Fayed and their quest for justice and to hold Harrods accountable for their complicity in allowing and enabling this systematic abuse.  Now, more than ever, rich powerful men who believe they can get away with sexual abuse of the young and more vulnerable, need to know that more and more survivors are finding their voice and banding together in solidarity to challenge immunity and hold men and the institutions that support them accountable.

Harriet is the CEO of Centre for Women’s Justice and a solicitor of 30 years experience who worked for many years with renowned civil liberties firm, Birnberg Peirce Ltd. She is the winner of the Liberty Human Rights Lawyer of the Year award 2014, Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year 2018 for public law and Law Society Gazette personality of the year 2019.  She has acted in many high profile cases around violence against women She is a founder member of the campaign group, Justice for Women and trustee of the charity, the Emma Humphreys Memorial Prize. She is also author of ‘Sister in Law: Fighting for Justice in a System Designed by Men’ published in 2024, which describes a number of the key legal battles she has fought over the years.
